ELAINE KESSEL is an art educator, cartoonist, and photographer. She taught high school photography for 19 years. Her single panel cartoon, COLOR ME HAPPY was nationally syndicated by United Feature Syndicate and was a daily feature in the BUFFALO NEWS from 1979-2004. COLOR ME HAPPY has been licensed by Fisher-Price, Hallmark, Bristol Myers Squibb, Western Publishing, Enesco, and Ohio Art.
Elaine is an award winning exhibiting member of the Buffalo Society of Artists. Her photographic pieces have appeared in the Burchfield-Penney Museum Store, Chautauqua Gallery Store at Strohl Art Center, The Alexandra Shop, and SPOT Coffee. Her work can be seen in various art venues in Western NY, including Canalside, Lewiston Art Festival, and the Glen Park Art Festival.
